No. Guests open the property's OnStay concierge in a web browser from a QR code or shared link. They do not create a guest account or download an app.
Guests can type a question. Voice is also available where the device and browser support microphone access. A microphone problem does not prevent text use.
The link is scoped to one property. It does not identify the visitor as a particular reservation, and it does not use an OTA, property-management system, or iCal feed to verify who the guest is. Physical-entry credentials remain in the host's private booking channel.
A host can place the QR sign at the property or share the property link through the communication method already used for the stay. Guests from direct bookings, Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, or another source can use the same browser experience when they have the link.
A guest can ask for the property’s parking guidance or checkout instructions from the same browser page. If an answer is uncertain, safety-sensitive, or needs human judgment, the question returns to the host with context.
